Claiborne County Archives Mission:
TO COLLECT, CONSERVE AND MAKE AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC THE HISTORICAL COLLECTION OF CLAIBORNE COUNTY ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS.
The Claiborne County Archives holds records for marriage, probate, deeds, tax, wills, merchants license and bonds, and circuit court in Claiborne County. Records date from 1800 to the 1980s. The primary mission of the Archives is to restore and maintain the integrity of the county historical documents. Resources are available for county department inquiries and to visitors for genealogical research.
