Circuit Court services contract disputes and civil torts over $25,000.00, condemnations, worker’s compensation claims, divorces, adoptions, appeals, conservatorships/guardianships, which is located at 1740 Main St., Suite 201, in the County Seat of Tazewell. Included in the Circuit Court is the Criminal Court side of maintaining and keeping the records of Grand Jury reporting, Indictments, Appeals, Jury Selection, Violation of Probation, Trial Exhibits, Post Convictions, Search Warrants, Motions for Felony and Misdemeanor charges.

The jurisdiction of the General Sessions Court includes limited-jurisdiction torts and contracts under $25,000.00, landlord-tenant disputes, garnishments, bank levies, orders of protection appeals and matters involving the District Attorney General’s Office, in the General Sessions Criminal and Juvenile Courts, including Felony and Misdemeanors warrants, citations, Violation of Probations, Capias, Appeals, Pleas, Petitions
